МОК утверждает установленные Международными федерациями своды правил, процедур и критериев допуска к соревнованиям Олимпийских игр после проверки их соответствия положениям Олимпийской хартии. По каждому виду спорта/дисциплине/виду соревнований разрабатываются свои квалификационные системы отбора определенного Исполкомом МОК числа участников. (См. Правило 45 Олимпийской хартии)

qualification systems
IOC approves the regulations established by Ifs that consist of rules, procedures and criteria ensuring that eligibility to the competitions of the Olympic Games is in conformity with the Olympic Charter. Qualification systems vary from sport to sport and are established to a limited number of athletes for each sport/discipline/event approved by the IOC Executive Board. (See Olympic Charter Rule 45)
